Mucokehl è preparato dal fungo Mucor racemosus fresen. Secondo gli studi del Prof. Enderlein, nel sangue e nei tessuti degli esseri viventi, sono presenti microrganismi (endobionti) normalmente avirulenti con azione regolatrice di diversi meccanismi. Questi endobionti sono di norma fasi non patogene del Mucor racemosus fresen (vedi ciclogenia batterica).
