Latensin è una sospensione ricavata dal batterio non patogeno Bacillus cereus M.U. 345a (DSM 5194). Per il suo contenuto in sostanze proteiche, polisaccaridi e fermenti, il rimedio ha un effetto di attivazione delle difese endogene nelle malattie infiammatorie croniche.
